That's where the dreamer money is atm. It's like a contagion since one joker listed some used common KGVI definitive on eBay months ago and now everyone finds they have one in the old school-boy album which they expect $10k for once they list it. .

I used to do an ebay search by highest value first, but now all you get is dreamer dross from that search.

Did the buyer not realize that this is a modern reproduction?
Viewing the back does not even have any sign of the watermark these stamps ought to have.
£633,00 for a reproduction?. The seller is smiling all the way to the bank. And I do believe they know exactly what they are selling, regardless of what the description says. It's all part of their strategy.

I’m sure the seller does know. But the novices (including me) can easily get lost thinking there’s a bargain. Not that I have that much money. I read another thread about a seller called roostamps, selling false used items, well done to the person there who called them out.

The MORON bidders were out in force on a modern NO WATERMARK £5 Orange QV Telegraph with a very clearly fake cancel. These have THREE clear watermark impression on each stamp of course.

Now the FakeBay spiv aret--41 has moved onto KEVII with this similar joke on copy paper it looks like. Dipped in tea, to try and make it look a bit old. It is up to £10 and 'has not met reserve' so he clearly is Bunny Hunting.

Please report this to seller aret--41 - request he amend heading to say REPLICA, as clearly required by ebay rules, and ask him to cancel sale on the £5, and re-offer that as a REPRODUCTION, and also report it to FakeBay ... these purveyor of fakes such as aret--41 must be nipped in the bud early.

If this was really worth 80,000 euro one might be disaapointed that it was entrusted to a delivery service costing only 7 euro.

In fact, not including free local postage seems somewhat Scrooge-like. That one eleven thousandth profit curtailed must be really important.
