Reason: Expanded very vague and lazy 2 word heading, to make more sense to members, (read Rule 10) and turned it into a QUESTION of some kind

I would go as far to say I know nothing about coins, tokens or medallions, but I have always associated the four leaf clover with St.Patrick & the Irish.

Google lens has it as a plague token from Denmark.

Does it have the remains of a clasp at the top edge?

Looks like a modern re-strike of one of these ....

Older examples, from the 1930's, are available on Etsy

ViccyVFU found it - never thought it was silver!
It was probably a pendant, as your colleagues in Austria had already guessed - see Numismatics Forum Austria:

2 opinions from 2 different cultures is better than one!
