U.S. stamped stamp

Post by abcoach18 »

Please give me some feedback as to what this is please. I came across this over the weekend in a box in my basement that held papers from my grandfather.

Any help would be appreciated. Alan

The item is part of a postal stationery envelope. Unfortunately I do not see all of it in your image. If it is complete, then it would be obvious as to what it is. Seeing that you ask about the item, I assume that it is incomplete.

Such postal stationery items were sold by post offices, and still do, for those who wanted a postage paid envelope to use.

Thank you so much David. When you say "Unfortunately I do not see all if it in your image"...are you referring to the a pic of the entire envelope? I am sorry for my ignorance to this and thank you again.

Please READ our very simple Rules.

We do NOT do lazy and absurd 3 word headings, nor load images sideways, and we DO add attachments inline -
