The special postmark from Goa is going to be only this month, I read somewhere. Mail a speed post to yourself, will be a good collectible.

Any idea if Goa still has 2019 stamps available in GPO?

Yup. The postmark was given only for five days at Panjim G.P.O till 24th May. Panjim is Goa's only Philatelic bureau.

Yup I know about the GPO as I lived in Ribandar for couple of years staff a decade ago was really helpful

I am not really that expert but will try my best.
From this week the Philately counter will be open for only one (Tuesday) or two (Tuesday and Friday) days each week. I will confirm and let you know. From Saturday the cancellation is available at Margao for four days.

Leopard Cat 5r definitive stamp.

This is printed in three colors, yellow and black for the cat, and marron brown for the backround. I do not have any other copies to compare the printing to, it is not rescreened though.

Is this imperf known? It appears to come from printer's waste, and the rough tearing lead me to believe it is a non-philatelic commercial usage.

Yes, I just checked online for a quick search and the imperf version Block of 4 is available with different suppliers with prices from 500-750 INR

Need to check the SG catalog if it is mentioned there too

I’ve seen Imperforate versions of the lower values of these turn up for sale - the rose, deer & otter. So they are not that rare. There are variations of color & perforation shifts also found in this series (either they were careless or everything printed was put up for sale) Interesting to read of the postal forgeries on the image Joy has posted.

The terra-cotta temples is on the calendar now so it’s going to happen sooner or later, it’s been pending for a while I guess - so finally It’s time has come.

It seems a set of 5 stamps in the denomination of Rs.5/- each and a miniature sheet on 'UNESCO World Heritage Sites 3 - Cultural sites' will be issued tomorrow.

Heard more than 2500 were submitted for the competition.
Not sure if they will reach all philatelic bureaus soon as the competition ended on July 27. Then there would be design selection, printing of stamps, miniature sheets and first day covers.

I love the fact that they are images chosen from a photography contest.
The terracota temples stamps looks lovely. Never knew about them till this stamp release.

I was so looking forward to the covid stamps
Thailand released 1 yesterday.

I think just like gandhi stamps have more buyers..religion themed stamps are popular, esp in India. This maybe why the ram mandir stamps were made into personalised stamps (also, I dont think they can make a comemmorative stamp on a building that hasnt completed construction??). Even if the face value is around 60rs..the sheet costs 500. Im sure even if it were 1000 rs..there will be buyers.

India has so many amazing animals and birds..AND illustrators..digital and other artists. Wish they were included in the designing stamps 'team'..esp flora fauna ones. The last pink UNESCO fauna stamps (with the exception of snow leopard stamp) left much to be desired. They felt like animal paper cut outs stuck together.

However I have heard that the miniature sheet is available on epost.

Got back from the phila bureau today. They didnt give me both UNESCO independence day AND teracotta temples miniatures.
Both has errors it seems
Also a friend in coimbatore said he got the teracotta stamps/sheetlet. No mini.
