Totally crazy weekend here people hence the late posting.

Ireland v England in the Rugby (we lost

), My 2021 Champion Chase ante-post wager Notebook making his seasonal debut at Naas (he won as he liked

) and most important of all; Waterford v Clare in All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Final (our lads ate them alive

).

The Final Round for the Qualifiers will be 6 Games from the Guinness Pro-14 which will hopefully be played between 28/11/2020 and 30/11/2020.

If you are you need to post a prediction by 22:00 (GMT) on Monday 23/11/2020.

The Rules:

Points System:

Points will be allocated in each Round based on finishing positions for the Round.

Fixtures for Round 12 which are scheduled to take between 28/11/2020 and 30/11/2020. Game time (GMT) in brackets.

29/11/2020 : 2020-21 Guinness Pro-14 Round 9. - Benneton v Dragons (16:00)
29/11/2020 : 2020-21 Guinness Pro-14 Round 9. - Scarlets v Leinster (17:15)
29/11/2020 : 2020-21 Guinness Pro-14 Round 9. - Cardiff v Glasgow (19:35)
30/11/2020 : 2020-21 Guinness Pro-14 Round 9. - Edinburgh v Ulster (20:15)
30/11/2020 : 2020-21 Guinness Pro-14 Round 9. - Munster v Zebre (20:15)

Be careful with predictions.

For anyone looking in who has not entered the competition before there is no knowledge of Rugby Union required; it is basically a guess.

The Rules are always posted on the first post of the thread.

As for how to predict ? Well there are no rules really.

If you look at the Rules you will see I allow 35 points in the event of a game not being played. That is what I think should be the minimum number of points scored in a First Class Rugby Union encounter.

So;
1) Take 35 and multiply by the number of games.
2) Add/Subtract your age or house number.
3) Add/Subtract the number of cats/dogs you have.
4) Add/Subtract the ages of your Children.
4) Add/Subtract the day of the month.

There's a possible prediction ?

There is no magic formula. It's all a bit of fun.

The biggest worry atm is will Christmas happen ?

We always have large family meals at the Christmas time but sadly an ending to Level-5 Restrictions is not looking good, mainly because of a few idiots in Dublin & Cork. Government really needs to think about keeping those places at Level-5 and returning Counties where people actually obey the law to Level-3. Politically, that's not going to happen.

Yesterday’s England v Ireland game at least proved that low-scoring games can be entertaining for me. The first half in particular reminded me of the World Cup semi against NZ.

The Ireland management were taking many positives from the encounter. To me though; their attitude is very reminiscent of what I thought was the long dead "moral victory"; seems its still alive and well.

Anyway I switched to the Hurling at half-time and was a very happy bunny after that.

Yes, his second try was a stunner! A bit of a lucky bounce at the end maybe, but he clearly played for it.

I was disappointed in Ireland, particularly at the set pieces - most unlike the Ireland that have made England suffer so many times. The best that Ireland can take away from yesterday is that at least it's a long time until the next World Cup. Plenty of time to work on the players they've got, and to discover a few new ones if you don't mind me saying so.
