Re: The Barbados stamps and covers discussion thread
I’d be delighted to own a copy of the West Indies work as I’ve been drooling over the online version recently. May I have this one?

I have managed to get most of these, still missing "The Stamps of Barbados’ (1989)", which is always expensive.

That's very kind of you Derbyboi2. If you have either British West Africa or Great Britain still spare I would be happy to have one of these beautiful catalogues in my library. I have a UK address we can use. I could PayPal you postage charges?Derbyboi2 wrote: ↑10 May 2022 06:09 I today received the sumptuous hard bound Corinphila 'British West Indies' - Besancon (part III). Included in the 367 pages are 35 pages of classic Barbados in full colour with a large number of rarities, covers, multiples and Die Proofs. The parcel included 5 other beautiful hard-bound catalogues. There is a nice vertical joined pair having the 'Cancelled' supplied to Ormond Hill. The Auction is on the 27th May.
I don't collect BWI and if any member wants my hardbound copy or the British West Africa volume or the Great Britain volume or two volumes of Switzerland they are welcome to them. I believe to buy they are quite expensive.....

Re: The Barbados stamps and covers discussion thread
The catalogue has arrived and it is a magnificent volume. Here's just a couple of images: It is a wealth of wonderful material from this West Indies Collection. My sincere thanks to Derbyboi2 for sending this to me; as a Barbados collector, it's a privilege to own it.
I wish I'd known you were looking for a copy, I had one for sale in my shop about a year ago. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you....

Ahoj everyone!
Here is a humble Barbados stamp that once graced President Franklin D Roosevelt's collection.
Cheers,
