Reperforated along top and base. On a $5000 type £2 Roo stamp one hopes this is disclosed to buyers. :?:

To me it looks reperfed top, left and right. Holes are too clean cut and as the re-cutting of the holes creates longer perf tips, someone has scissor trimmed them back to a more normal length.

Either way, if anyone wants to buy it, it's available from our good friends at Stanley Gibbons...Lot 75 in their forthcoming auction.

And the BASE for sure, as noted above.

These stamp describing geniuses at SG still owe me an 80 quid overcharge for another £1 Roo re-perf they sold me months back and denied it was.

This might be why the SG share price under the current alleged 'stamp experts' is literally a penny or so a share, and not the several QUID a share of recent years.

Perfs are all fine on that trio -- the CENTERING is the terrible part.

I'm inclined to be suspicious about those three Roos.
I don't like the bottom perfs at the sides (see arrows below) - too narrow/pointy. A classic sign of a reperf.
10shillings roo 1st wmk.jpg
When you cut a line of bottom perfs slightly higher up, it takes away some of the width of the lowest side perfs.

For instance, you might start with this:
IMG_0009.jpg
And end up with something like this:
IMG_0009 - Copy (2).jpg

I know it can happen naturally, but the fact that all three of the ones josto shows have the same characteristic is too much of a coincidence for me.

On the subject of questionable roos....perfs at top anyone? And yes, this one does show the naturally occurring narrower lower corner side perfs.

How about this one, to me I don’t like the perfect on bottom, top and right. But happy to be proven wrong.

Excellent thanks, to my eyes the bottom in particular appeared “wavy”, maybe I need a drink!
