What's going to happen now, if they try to prosecute him?
Jail time one hopes. No-one is above the aw.

Trump personally approved the increase in prison term when in office. He might wish he did not. :!:

Julian Assange also breached the Espionage Act. Check how great fun his life has been for 10 years or more.

Dump has been a PRIVATE CITIZEN for 9 months. Period.

His lawyer advised the Feds in writing in June that everything had been handed over re relevant government documents.

He lied. A van load of government documents had clearly NOT been handed over. Dump is done like a dinner. He knowingly BROKE THE LAW.

Mar a Lago is not a secure freestanding home. It is a country club that has MANY members with full access to visit and live there.

USA cannot have Uber high security documents sitting around in suburbia, when that easy access is there - to spies or others. PRECISELY why this clear-cut law exists.

I agree with you about everything Dumpy did wrong, I just don't want to see a breakdown like Jan 6 on a national scale.

Part of the problem lies with the Media.

In the good old days there was Edward R. Murrow, Walter Chronkite, David Brinkley, John Chancellor, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings and Ted Koppel (world famous American or Canadian journalists) with them all working for the three networks and all delivering the news accurately.

Now the lunatic fringe on the right and the lunatic fringe on the left have their own news channels which bear no resemblance to each other at all.

So in recent arguments/discussions with a friend at the local bar I claimed that Trump had ignored a subpoena for the missing documents earlier this year hence the search warrant was issued and my friend claimed that there was no subpoena issued whatsoever and that the search warrant was issued improperly. What we were both told came from differing news organizations, me MSNBC and him Fox or Newsmax. This would not have happened in the good old days.

Kindest regards

So NBC, ABC and CBS have all now departed the TV News business?

The USA has ALWAYS had lunatic fridge channels left and right. Even in the 'good old days'.

Sane folks watch the middle ground that report mostly balance and proven facts.

I'd hardly tune into www.Nazi.com to read up on 'facts' about the Holocaust etc. :!:

They are still in there but only for 30 minutes per day segments with their viewership being way down. Also there is a lot of 'infotainment' to accommodate the lowest common denominations. They simply cannot compete with the 24 hour news cycle stations.

Hopefully the Coast Guard nukes it as being inhabited by illegal immigrants then.

Let's not forget Trump's Mother arrived barefoot and penniless into the USA with no papers, no money, and English was not her first language, so history repeating itself really. Dump gave that fact little press when trying to deport millions of folk in exactly her position.
