Mystery Cinderella depicting Yellow Flower - anyone here recognize it?

Post by DJCMH »

Mystery Yellow Flower Cinderella
Mystery Yellow Flower Cinderella
This is most likely a huge longshot, but does anyone have any ideas as to the origins of this Cinderella. A contributor to Colnect has it and is looking for any information regarding it.

Not much to go with I know, and I am not getting any positive IDs with Google search, but who knows what the collective wisdom of this forum might bring.

My hunch is that it is just a decorative label from the outer of a mini sheet, or between panes etc, or on a booklet pane edge etc.

Certainly not a Cinderella as no issuer or date or value etc.

Looks like a rose to me. Perhaps from Ro(se)mania?

It has a Chinese feel to it to me, but that is a pure guess and the writing is not Chinese.

I agree. I'd be concentrating my search on the former communist-bloc countries starting with the 1960s-70s issues from Hungary, Romania, Poland, Cuba
