What do you LOOK like? Post a picture of yourself here!

Post by The Pom »

(Note to Mods - I was going to put this in with the Roll Call thread, but thought it might get a better response here - feel free to move it if you want)

Anyway. I think it's always nice to be able to put a face to a name, so thought a thread where people can post a picture of themself might be a good thing.

I'll get the ball rolling. I'm the good looking bloke in the middle, surrounded by women as usual. :D

What a great idea for a thread. :D

Here I am in New York in Feb at the $7+ million Arthur Gray's Kangaroos sale - no wonder he (on the left!) looks very happy!

sandgroper --- what you have loaded is a tiny thumbnail.

If you load it into photobucket normal size what you will get to paste here is also normal sized.

Also for folks who do not have it, I urge ALL members to download the FREE Google PICASA program.

Superb and simple to use, and lets you crop stamps, or parts of them from covers or rotate them etc. As I did in 20 seconds with sandgroper's panorama snap above, that takes the page far too very 'wide" for most readers, so he might like to edit his url with the one below. 8)

Here you go - a gem of a program for stamps - scores of us use this all the time - and DEAD simple to use:

https://picasa.google.com/download

That photo was taken from Picassa but I forgot to crop it.

Agree too much scenery.

That mountain in the background is Mt McKinley, good spotting Lakatoi

Hi Maggie, Billabong here. (Very formal- not the usual- ére.)

It is extremely good to see what you look like. As for the bloke and the fish, you could have left them out, they only detract from the photo. You'd better watch out or that BoB will be after you. He lives near you I believe.   8) 8) 8)

This picture with my wife taken at her recent birthday bash.

Not sure who I was supposed to be but at least you cannot see my lack of hair.

I'm often called 'landing strip' but can't work out why?

Just a thought..

Should this thread be in this part of the Stampboards since it is not about stamps? Maybe put in the Introduction thread?

Your holiday to Qld above and the boat in the photo.

Some goss for you.

You may or may not know but the boat is the Kookaburra Queen which goes up and down the Brisbane river serving lunch and dinner etc

The owner of the boat is a stamp dealer from Brisbane! he plays the piano on board and guests would have no idea he is the owner!

Let alone a huge eBay seller.

Dave
