These received from Skippy:

Very nice ... I've been trying for some time to find the kangaroo in meter stamp and was almost at the point of buying a large lot of stuff I didn't want to get one ... then along comes a lifesaver.

And this pièce de résistance:

Sent from West Papua when it was known as Irian Barat and in the process of being forcibly incorporated into the Javanese Colonial Empire (Indonesia). Note the IRIAN BARAT on the stamps.

Sent from Kota Baru Irian. This cancel is described as very hard to find. Most copies are on UNTEA first day covers that were produced and backdated by Indonesian authorities in order to dupe collectors. A genuine use is a good find indeed.
Very nice selection of items Gus, and VERY much appreciated.

Got this the other day from Old Yeti. Inside was a Phillipines Scout cover(now on the scout thread). I nearly missed it, as I thought it was just a stiffener in the cover.
I'm glad to see A.I. have chosen the tight colours for their covers. Oh!, I forgot to say posted on 11-11-11.

Another Villefranche cover from Tanuki arrived yesterday.
There are Villefranches all over the place in France ... distinguished from one another by sur-saone, sur-mer, sur-all over the place.

Villefranche is the French equivalent of Freeburgh, where I live ... so I have a Freetowns of the world project running at the moment.

I can not scan and post them all.
But here is a scan of one speciality that I got. (and I like it)

Thanks for that Muruk. I have some bigfoots to give you when you next come down ( or post) A Healesville Sanctuary with pictorial postmark and three different dated pets series from 1996 and a Philokorea from 84. All in pristine condition with no hint of scissors.
As for the Bright cds, I think by now, I have a few, good to see other people send out nice cds's.

Another nice item from nightwatchman.
It's not a place I would have looked for kangaroos, but Noel was astute enough to spot it and send it to me. Much appreciated.

I would otherwise have missed this as I don't buy rolls of stamps.
It's also one of my favourite kangaroo images. Looks very much like one I raised. The look says: "I really should come and rip you to shreds, but I just couldn't be bothered right now."

The imprint represents 55¢, which is the domestic rate for cards during the Christmas season.Berlin-Gus wrote:I am wondering what rate (postal value) that imprint represents since it is obviously meant for a special postal service.
The International rate is $1.50 if using international stamps. With domestic stamps on international mail, a 10% GST refund to Australia Post must be added, so $1.65 in domestic stamps.

Re: Show what you received for "Free" from other Stampboarde
I received these a couple of days ago from muruk.
A British receipt from 1957...

...its original cover sent from The Australia & New Zealand Bank (note the inverted 1957)...

...which all came in a very nice cover.

Thanks Muruk, very much appreciated

Received with THANKS from Muruk a 1957 Canadian registered cover mailed to Scotland
as per this thread https://www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=33473
Leave it to Muruk to be creative in his mailing envelope. The Canadian cover had been posted at Chilliwack, B.C. Muruk's cover had a wonderful Chilliwack cachet as shown here
