Andorra Postcard/Cover Exchange

I'm off to Andorra soon. If you would like a postcard or cover please post below. I will send to 6 requesters. If more than that below then I will give preference to previous exchange partners and then draw lots.
I will do my absolute best to use commemorative stamps from Andorra (see below about stamps available). If you have any special requests then please state them below.
In exchange I would like a cover or postcard from you, preferably with a modern architecture, fern or modern transport theme.
Closing date is Friday evening GMT.

Info about postage in Andorra
Andorra is special as the postage system is not operated by the state. Instead, both Spain Correos and France La Poste have post offices in the country. Each company has its own set of post boxes and issue their own stamps for Andorra (French and Spanish stamps are not valid within Andorra).

Hello Dannik,

I will be grateful if you can include me in Andorra cover Exchange.

I am a student and I am doing all my projects through Philately. This year we are thinking of doing projects about not so familiar places to us. So if I get one from Andorra it will be very helpful.

Since I am new to this hobby, I have India Post stamps from 2012 to till date only. If you tell me stamps in this period, I will use that stamp in the Exchange Cover.

Hi Everyone,

I have come home to a very nice selection of covers

I will post some scans later in the week. I have some good/bad news:
* The good news is that I sent you all covers and postcards on Thursday.
* The bad news is that I couldn't get any of the stamps that you requested. The office was very small and they only had a limited selection of stamps. The stamps from La Poste were particularly boring for European mailings.

I know some of you have gone out of your way to find me some nice stamps. I will email you individually and maybe I can send you an extra cover from the UK matching your preferred themes.

The post office I visited was in the ski resort that I was staying called Pas de La Casa. It was a small office with two desks, one for La Poste and one for Correos. I visited La Poste first and mailed all postcards/covers from there, we had some language difficulties but I showed some printouts of the stamps I wanted. The woman told me that none were available and sold me what she had. Then I went to the Correos desk and sent the covers/postcards to those that wanted a set from each office. These stamps seemed a little nicer. I had one cover to send to Canada and the woman didn't have any stamps, so she took payment and told me she would affix a stamp later - so there will be a surprise for me too.

You should all receive your covers and postcards soon.

By the way, the Church of Saints Simon and Helen (the red one in the maxi-card inside) was built in the 20th century (in 1905-1910) though it looks quite old

The Spanish post in Andorra is ruling

My first postcard arrived yesterday - it's the same as the one to Eibar so I'll but show the stamp side. The post mark is much cleare in reality than in the scan.

I'm not sure what to make of your blank cover. The post office woman told me she would attach a stamp, something was either lost in translation or this is out of Europe post Correos Andorra style.

In fact I do it intentionally

I always cut away the sender's address if it's present (I have no permission to disclose anybody's data except for mine) in the Paint program, but leave my address - it does not indicate my physical address, just a post office box, and it make it easier for those interested to contact me if they need

Thanks again for the mails and the stamps, and I hope the 2nd postcard will arrive soon, too

First cover received from GreenGO today, Thank you.

It is a very nice cover depicting the work of Max Fabiani, an Italian/Austrian architecture, who designed the urban plan of Ljubljana. One of his most famous buildings is the Mladika palace that GoGreen has included on the cover.

Oops, sorry dkstamp. I had to get one of them wrong. I write everything down on a sheet before going out to a country to try to make sure I don't miss anyone. I'm very sorry about sending you the wrong stamp. Could I send you a UK cover/postcard to make up for it?

You need to upload your photo to a free hosting site. I use google's picassaweb. Then you can use the [Img] button above the text box to insert the link to the image.
